Gold is over $1000 an ounce!!



People are getting nice gold out of the river. Make sure you have your permits with you at all times. Make sure you observe all the rules. The forest rangers are checking up on people. Be kind and polite. Keep an eye out for snakes don't stick your hands where you can't see (above water).

Christmas Party with Door Prizes and Gifts!
A small ham & turkey and drinks will be provided by the chapter. Please come, socialize and talk. Oh, and bring a dish that will cover 8 people or so. We will have a helpful training session for new prospectors. Come learn something, then practice it in the field after the meeting.

Gift Exchange:
Bring a gift in the $5.00 to $10.00 range.
Everyone that brings a gift in, will be in the gift exchange.
Dirty Santa style, like last year. It should be a lot of fun.

Let's go prospecting again after the meeting. I really enjoyed getting out into the creek with so many people after the November meeting. Hope to see you there!
